Blog Update!!!

So its been a busy month for me. I am always finding something to work on. I decided to replace the handles in the bathtub with new brushed nickle ones. What I was hoping was going to be an easy job turned into an all day affair and 12 trips between Home Depot and Lowe's. I replaced all the guts of the valves. To do this i had to work under the kitchen sink through a small opening in the back of the cabinet to reach the pipes for the tub. But its done know and looks much better.

Next I have the guys coming for "Guys weekend 3" next weekend and they wanted to have a fire. So of course I cant do it to simple, So i got a fire pit and laid a paver base for the fire pit.

Lastly I decided i wanted to update the living room. So i repainted it a tan color to lighten the room up. February is going to be a busy month, with guys weekend .

Memories

As a kid I remember going to my Mom-mom and Pop-pops house and in the kitchen was a pitcure of a man praying on the wall. I always liked that photo. So when i redid my kitchen i decided to see if I could find the pitcure for my kitchen. Below is the pitcure and one of a woman praying as well. It just brings back good memories from my child hood. New Kitchen

Last weekend I decided to spruce up my kitchen. It started with painting the ceiling. The walls looked so bad after that I decided to paint them. I spent Wednesday night and Thursday night painting the walls. All of this in prep for my Saturday spent laying a new laminate wood floor. My friend Brad agreed to help me. We spent today laying the floor and putting all the appliances back into the room. I hope you enjoy the pictures. The first set of pictures are of the kitchen on the day I moved in.

Liberty vs. West Virginia Weslyne

I went with Matt, Brad and Judson to the Liberty game today. It was a lot of fun, we won 45 - 7. The guys and I grabbed dinner afterwards before heading home. Sitting in the stands you can see Liberty's new Snow-flex complex. This is the first one of its kind in the USA. Its only been in Europe until now. Enjoy the pictures. (i have the new camera)

Update!!!

I have not had a camera for awhile so I have not had any new pictures to post and have not really had that much going on. I spent today working on adding a ceiling fan to the living room. It involved me fishing down the wall so I could attach it to the current switch. It worked out better than I planned. Here are some pictures i took with my blackberry. I hope to have a new camera next week.
